I am an experienced UK interventional cardiologist, having been a consultant in the major cardiac center in the Southwest of England for more than a decade. My preconsultant training in interventional cardiology during the 1990s included an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. During my consultant post, I have performed more than 4,000 first operator percutaneous coronary interventions, many of them complex cases, and the great majority via the transradial approach. I am experienced in all aspects of general and noninvasive cardiology. I also have a fairly extensive research background. I have now decided to move on from my current consultant post, and am currently considering all job opportunities.
